315 Coventry St, South Melbourne
Sitting across from South Melbourne Market, this cafe offers specialty coffee and globally-influenced, farm-to-table dishes. The menu is lengthy, made up of things like French Toast, Korean Fried Chicken and Waffles, gnocchi dishes and even (sustainably caught) fish and chips.
511 Victoria Street, Abbotsford
How convenient: this cafe in Abbotsford is an all-in-one bike shop and espresso bar. Coffee-wise, this place pumps out seriously good cups and food-wise, the menu is tight: toasties, granola, smashed avo and home-baked goods. Roll on in.
88b Sydney Road, Brunswick
Brunswick is home to this cute cafe with an all-day Turkish-style menu. Eighty8 Kitchen in Barkly Square dish up things like sujuk with eggs, gozleme and falafel platters. Finish up with some baklava and Turkish tea!
York St Cafe

Need a pick me up in South Melbourne? This little cafe serves smoothies, toasties, salads, great coffee and raw sweet treats out of a tiny Victorian Terrace. Enjoy a beautifully brewed coffee on the porch!
