Here are some of Melbourne's must-try all-day breakfast venues
An iconic institution in the heart of Fitzroy, hit up the Fitz for chilli scramble or the Fitz Big Breakfast (if you think you can handle it).
The home of delicious home-made cakes and muffins, Sopa Café also does many good things with the simple egg. Try the Crispy Pork Belly Benedict if you want something different... try it at 8pm if you like, we won’t judge you.
You never know at what time of day you’re going to get a craving for an Open Crumpet or a Banana Cocoa Souffle Waffle. At Urban Provedore in South Yarra it doesn’t matter...
We’re not sure about you, but we think buttermilk pancakes should be an all-day thing anywhere and everywhere. Rock Paper Scissors in Port Melbourne agrees. Ps. They do a mean Grilled GPS Toastie too.
It’s a little know fact but Winter Coconut Porridge can actually be eaten in other seasons! If you want to give it a try this summer, Mellow Fellow is the place. Seriously though, this place has an epic menu... try the Chorizo Chilli Scramble – for breakfast or lunch 😉
You probably already know Shanklin Cafe in Hawthorn. If not, this place is something special. Where else could you get Nutella Stuffed Pancakes at 2pm in the afternoon? A top venue with a well-deserved, exceptional reputation for putting on an amazing breakfast.
Charming café in Elsternwick known for its coffee. Loco also does some pretty sweet omelettes, corn fritters and if you’re not saving for a house, a mean smashed avo... all day (well until they close at 5pm anyway).
